Diwali = Festival of Lights!!!

This year Diwali is on November 1st and new year falls on November 2nd.
As you all know celebrations are at various places in bay area this
weekend, next weekend and more. There was a special celebration last
year with theme of San Francisco at Swaminarayan temple in Milpitas.
Represent hundreds of vegetarian food item to God (called "ANNAKUT").
This year will be a new theme.

Next year in summer of 2006 this temple is moving at one of the old SUN
building at California circle in Milpitas.

Direction:
From San Francisco:
Take 101 SOUTH.
Take 237 East/Alviso Exit.
Immediately after passing I-880 exit stay in the RIGHT lane and take
RIGHT at the fork which is Serra Road.
Take RIGHT on Abel Street at the traffic light.
Then LEFT on Corning Ave at the second traffic light.
Mandir is at the corner of Able Street and Corning Ave.

From San Jose:
Take I-880 NORTH (Towards Oakland).
Take the GREAT MALL PKWY exit.
Turn RIGHT onto GREAT MALL PKWY.
Turn LEFT onto S ABEL ST.
Take RIGHT on Corning Ave.
Mandir is on your left at the corner of S Abel Street and Corning Avenue.

From Oakland:
Take I-880 SOUTH.
Take the MILPITAS - ALVISO RD exit towards CALAVERAS BLVD(CA-237).
Keep LEFT at the fork in the ramp.
Keep RIGHT at the fork in the ramp.
Stay straight to go onto W CALAVERAS BLVD/CA-237.
At the fork, stay in the RIGHT lane and take RIGHT at the fork which is
Serra Road.
Take RIGHT on Abel Street at the traffic light.
Then LEFT on Corning Ave at the second traffic light.
Mandir is at the corner of Able Street and Corning Ave.
